1988 Completed a $60 million IPO through Merrill Lynch to acquire Canadian Pacific fleet of Handysize and Medium Range tankers through B+H Ocean Carriers Ltd. B+H Ocean Carriers listed on American Stock Exchange, symbol BHO
1989: Completed a $45 million IPO through Salomon Brothers to purchase 11 vessels. Privately acquired Marathon Oil Company’s fleet of Panamax and Suezmax tankers.
1991 B+H Shipping Group adds in house technical management capabilities.
1993-1996: B+H Shipping Group expanded operations into Singapore, opening a technical, operations and commercial office.
1997-1998: B+H Shipping Group, through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Equimar Shipholdings Ltd., raised $125 million in high yield market. Proceeds were used to refinance existing fleet and to purchase eight 1980-1983 Medium Range product tankers.
1999 B+H concluded their transaction with Chevron for a six-vessel product tanker fleet utilizing bank syndicate financing
2004 B+H Shipping Group expands into the OBO segment.
2005 European equity offering of $60 million completed through Pareto Securities, Oslo.
